A licensed engineer in New York, Connecticut, and the Virgin Islands, Paul Angelides has extensive experience in forensic engineering and is certified as an expert by numerous courts, commissions, and zoning boards. Knowledgeable in national and international fire and zoning code standards, Paul Angelides has conducted thousands of forensic examinations involving building structures and systems.

If an accident or failure occurs, his company, Paul J. Angelides, P.E., P.C. works with building owners, attorneys, and insurance carriers to determine what happened, why it happened and what could have been done to prevent it. One of the recent design projects conducted by his engineering firm entailed providing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire sprinkler, and structural designs for the 16,000-square-foot expansion of the New York Institute of Technology student Activities Center.

Outside of his day job, Paul Angelides has several hobbies, including food, travel, and hiking. For part of the year he lives in St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he enjoys boating, and island activities.
